Why do you need a wrinkle cream? As a person ages, her skin loses its elasticity. A combination of cosmic rays and free radicals take their toll on the DNA of the skin cells. The epidermal cells become thinner and less sticky, clinging to the lower layers of the skin. All these effects lead to wrinkles.
There are a wide variety of wrinkle cream and other anti wrinkle solutions available to help combat wrinkles.
If you already have wrinkles, then it's too late for wrinkle prevention. But at least you can minimize the damage that has already occurred in addition to getting a good wrinkle cream.
Avoid the sun. Ultraviolet radiation can cause the skin to break down faster, in addition to producing photodamage and discoloration.
Use an antioxidant moisturizer. Antioxidants applied to the surface of the skin very likely help to minimize the damage done to individual cells by free radicals. Additionally, moisturizer helps to "plump up" the skin and minimize wrinkles.
Minimize or avoid the use of cosmetics. Many cosmetics contain harsh chemicals that have an unhealthy effect on the skin.
A wide variety of wrinkle treatments, including different types of wrinkle cream, currently exist. These options range from topical wrinkle cream all the way to surgery.
A good wrinkle cream has peptides, moisturizers and antioxidants in its formula.
Botulism toxin, when injected into the skin, paralyzes muscles and can relax some of the muscles that lead to wrinkles. This is an expensive procedure ($500-$2000 per treatment) and is not permanent.
We recommend BOTOX® alternative creams.
These two cosmetic procedures use intense radiation to stimulate the lower layers of the skin, rejuvenating them and aiding in the reduction of wrinkles. These procedures can be more expensive than botox, and are not yet proven to be permanent.
We recommend wrinkle cream as an alternative to expensive cosmetic treatments.
A serious, and expensive, medical procedure in which the skin of the face is pulled backward and refastened to the rest of the head. Often results in the "Joan Rivers Look." Semipermanent – once you have a face lift you will need maintenance procedures for the rest of your life.
We recommend wrinkle cream as an alternative to expensive and sometimes dangerous surgery.
